Harborlight Guest House

The Harborlight Guest House stands watch over the beautiful Bogue Sound and The Intracoastal Waterway. We sit on a peninsula wrapped by 500’ of waterfront. Relax on the deck and watch the boats pass by, identify the many species of waterfowl which inhabit a nearby island sanctuary owned by the Audubon Society of North Carolina or enjoy a visit from the dolphins which frequent us. The panoramic vistas, sunrises and sunsets are simply spectacular.

When you stay with us your choices are many: oceanfront beaches, Cape Lookout National Seashore and Lighthouse or pristine Hammocks Beach State Park (both available by boat only), Morehead City’s deep sea fishing fleet, historic Beaufort and Swannsboro’s quaint shops, kayaking and canoeing right off our premises, ecology trips, golf and fine dining. Yet the peaceful, serene environment here would never give a hint that all these places and things to do are so accessible. Oh, and there’s also one more thing you might like to consider doing---absolutely nothing! Because the opportunity to just hang around, kick back, relax and enjoy the renewing experience is unparalleled.
